My father and I work together creating patachitra paintings on cotton or silk, and palm leaf engravings. My father is an excellent artist, as was my grandfather. They used to paint the walls of temples with portraits of deities. In 1968, my father won a National Award from the government of India for palm leaf engraving. I have learned this art from him. Everyone in our family works in the State Institute of Handicraft Teaching Center. Together with my father, I have also shown my work in many venues within India. I am very glad to be working under his guidance.' The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing.
